DOES 💲 MATTER? Filipinas EXPLAIN Age Gap Relationships

For dozens of passport bros seeking love and marriage with Filipinas, this year has been full of opportunities.

Some skeptical foreigners are quick to stereotype all Asian women as gold diggers, especially in countries with relatively low wages, such as the Philippines. They also point to the seemingly large number of WMAF (Western Male Asian Female) age gap relationships as supposed evidence of this.

However, the complicated truth is, from Davao City to Manila, Filipinas are dating beyond borders because they’ve had enough bad experiences with the local men. Pinays are intent on taking their chances with international dating apps and matchmaker organized speed dating events, hoping to find a better bachelor among foreign guys.

With regards to the age difference, unlike the Western counterpart, Asian dating culture is simply more accepting of age gap love. In other words, what’s considered a normal age gap is more flexible in Asia. So, naturally, an age gap between couples is more likely to develop there.

You can also easily find a higher age gap marriage between a Filipino guy and a Filipina girl, so it’s not like it’s exclusive to WMAF relationships.

Meanwhile, in the West, there’s a lot more stigma towards dating someone older or younger. In countries like the United States, a couple with a sizable age gap struggles to form, much less stay together.

Beyond the age gap, relationship advice that’d be of use to Pinay loving passport bros is to date in Cebu or Davao City. While popular in their own right, neither is as big of a tourist destination as, say, El Nido, Palawan.

In El Nido, Filipinas would have a huge tribe of men to choose from. Even in the less popular Siargao, dating tours would not be as efficient as they are in Cebu and Davao.

Another reason why Filipina cupids organize singles tours in these cities is how accessible everything would be for age gap couples that decide to settle down in either city.
