Dating Chinese women overseas are usually met with interracial dating challenges. It may not be a big deal at first but later on it might cause some stress on the relationship especially if you aren’t aware of it. Chinese dating matchmaker, Jenny, shares her advice on how foreigners win the hearts of Asian women so listen carefully to what she has to say.

Dating in China is different. Chinese girls are not aggressive when it comes to dating. It will certainly be a shock to you especially if you’re used to women openly flirting with men but in Asia, making relationships can be complicated.

First of all, Chinese women are polite and reserved women. They behave how traditionally feminine women have in the past so expecting them to be aggressive towards you will rarely happen. If you want a Chinese girlfriend, you need to take the initiative to win her heart, not the other way around.

Second, they are not open to PDA. In the West, public display of affection may be considered the norm but when you are dating Chinese women, it would be awkward to do so. If you can’t resist being intimate with her, it would be best to do that at a quiet place where no one’s around.

Third, meeting with the parents is important. When you have a Chinese girlfriend, you will at some point meet her parents. Chinese women often come from tight knit families so if you find it uncomfortable, then these are definitely one of the things that you should consider.

Lastly, religion matters. In love, we always think that nothing else matters as long as we care for one another but the reality is that it will one day become a problem. Talking things through will work out most of the time but just be prepared that sometimes it won’t.

Dating in China is a challenge but it will also give you new perspectives on how things work. If you are prepared for the challenges, then get on a plane and find your future wife.
